Built to be used by everyone on the team.

This site is engineered to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, and to the human-factors principles of MIL-STD-1472. Every text and background pair is contrast-checked, every interactive path works from the keyboard, and motion can be turned off entirely.

Conformance target

We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA across all public pages. Conformance is verified in the build: a contrast gate checks colour pairs against the AA thresholds, and the copy gate keeps language plain. We treat accessibility as a release requirement, not a finishing touch.

What we do

  • Contrast. Body and label colours meet the AA contrast ratio (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and interface elements), checked automatically before every release.
  • Keyboard. Every link, control, menu, and form field is reachable and operable with the keyboard alone, in a logical order, with a skip-to-content link first.
  • Visible focus. A clear focus ring marks the focused element, and it never relies on colour alone.
  • Reduced motion. When your system requests reduced motion, we turn off animation, parallax, and any moving background.
  • Colour is never the only signal. State is always paired with a label, shape, or icon, so meaning survives without colour.
  • Video. Demonstration clips ship with descriptive captions and a full on-page transcript, and nothing autoplays with sound.
  • Structure. One <h1> per page, meaningful headings, landmark regions, and labelled forms give assistive technology a clean map of each page.
  • Targets. Interactive targets meet a minimum size, with the primary action sized larger.

Forms and challenges

The contact form uses visible labels, per-field error messages announced to assistive technology, and a live status region. When a Cloudflare Turnstile challenge is added, it will include the accessible fallback the widget provides.

Known limits

Interactive visualizations that convey information graphically also offer a text-based fallback. If you meet a barrier we have not caught, tell us — real reports from real users are the fastest way we improve.
