DFARS
The Department of Defense's supplement to the Federal Acquisition Regulation, adding defense-specific rules and clauses, including cybersecurity and supply-chain requirements. It applies on top of the FAR for DoD contracts. DFARS adds the defense-specific clauses — including cybersecurity flowdowns — that a contractor must meet beyond the baseline FAR; missing one can make an otherwise-compliant bid non-responsive.
