Hyperspectral
Imaging that captures many contiguous, narrow wavelength bands, producing a detailed spectral signature for each pixel. This allows fine material identification but generates large volumes of data. Hyperspectral imaging fingerprints materials by their spectral signature, letting an operator distinguish, for example, a painted decoy from real vegetation that a normal camera cannot.
