Operator Night
Hold a multi-domain picture at night, the way one operator would: watch synthetic contacts fuse into tracks, weigh what the system proposes, and make the call yourself at the Human Gate. It takes about ninety seconds and shows the whole doctrine — sense, fuse, decide, authorize, record — with a tamper-evident record you can inspect. No real data, parameters, or techniques.
Synthetic scenario — no real sensor data, parameters, or techniques.
No active tracks yet.
BlackEcho proposes — the machine recommends, it does not act
Human Gate
Authorization requires a sustained human action. Hold the control (mouse or keyboard: focus it and hold Space) until it completes.
Narrative log
Evidence log · SHA-384 chain
Every decisive step is sealed into a hash chain in your browser (Web Crypto, SHA-384). Each row binds to the one before it, so the order and content of the record cannot be altered without breaking every link after it. Human decisions are marked.
| # | Time | Actor | Action | Link (SHA-384) |

How it works
- Sense Synthetic contacts arrive across four phenomenologies — radio-frequency, electro-optical/infrared, acoustic, and radar. Each sensor sees a piece.
- Fuse When independent detections agree, they resolve into one track with an identity hint and a confidence that firms up over time. Contacts that never correlate stay unfused clutter.
- Decide BlackEcho reads the fused picture and proposes a course of action — a sensor cue, or, when a track crosses a threshold with no cooperative identity, an authorization to consider. It recommends; it never acts.
- Authorize A response requires a person. The Human Gate only authorizes while a human sustains a deliberate action — a held control (default) or an opt-in spoken phrase. Nothing fires on the machine’s word alone.
- Record Sense, fuse, propose, and the human decision are each sealed into a SHA-384 hash chain in your browser. The record shows who decided, and when — and cannot be reordered or edited without breaking every link after it.
The Human Gate
The gate is the point of the whole exercise. A machine can sense faster and fuse more than a person can, and it should say so plainly when it has a recommendation. But authorizing a response is a human act, kept human on purpose. In this simulation the gate will not complete on a click or a glance: it asks for a sustained, deliberate action, and it writes down that a person — not the software — made the decision. Holding, or withholding, is recorded either way, because restraint is part of the record.
Scenarios
- Base defense — Fixed site, clear night, low wind. Defended: Defended airfield.
- Event security — Temporary venue, dense RF background, crowd present. Defended: Protected venue.
- Maritime approach — Coastal picket, sea state moderate, horizon haze. Defended: Escorted vessel.
Each scenario is fully deterministic: the same contacts, in the same order, every time, so a run is reproducible and shareable by URL. Voice authorization is optional and off by default; when you turn it on it uses your browser’s own speech service and listens only while a decision is pending. The evidence chain is computed with the Web Crypto API (SHA-384) locally — no bytes are sent anywhere.
