EP
The defensive division of electronic warfare: measures that protect friendly personnel and equipment from the effects of electronic attack, such as frequency agility, filtering, and emission control. Electronic protection is what keeps friendly radios, radars, and GPS working while under attack; without it, an operator's own electronic attack can be turned back on them.
